Basic information
RCZ Radio Flood Sensor is a standalone alarm device designed for early detection of water in areas prone to flooding, such as bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, and boiler rooms. The sensor detects flooding using two electrodes located on its underside.
Flood detection is signaled by a loud, built-in siren every 3 seconds until the flooding subsides or the battery runs out. The RCZ can be used with radio-controlled water valves, which shut off the water upon receiving the signal. The radio range of the RCZ in the facility between floors is up to 10 m.
Low battery is indicated by a short beep every 30 seconds. The sensor sends a test signal every 24 hours to confirm it is operational and within radio range.
