To register the remote control in the receiver, follow these steps: in accordance with the remote control registration instructions of the receiver manufacturer. In order to be registered in the receiver, the Proxima remote control must be compatible with the receiver's system.

To check the radio path of a given remote control you must press any button on the remote control quickly, at least 10 times. In Proxima remotes, a green LED indicates the correct battery charge level, while a red LED indicates that the remote's battery needs to be replaced. Users can check the current battery status at any time by triple-pressing the remote's button:
very good - three green flashes of the remote control LED,
raunchy - two green flashes of the remote control LED,
sufficient - one green flash of the remote control LED,
battery to be replaced - one red LED flash.

Bi:CLICK technology for one, two, three or four-button remote controls these are actually two remote controls for a given system in one housing, except for the six-button remote control, which replaces four three-button remote controls for a given system. The first remote control is available with a single click (SINGLE CLICK). The second remote control is available with a quick double press of the remote control button (DOUBLE CLICK).

Proxima brand remote controls are set to SINGLE CLICK mode by default. It's possible to change the remote's operating mode to Bi:CLICK. To do this, quickly press any button on the remote at least 20 times. Hold the last click until the LED glows red. When the LED lights up, release the button immediately. A flashing LED (2 long and 4 short flashes – the fan anthem) indicates that the remote's operating mode has been successfully changed. Repeating the above procedure changes the remote control's operating mode again.

Proxima brand remote controls allow you to control various radio receivers, gate, lighting, roller shutter controllers and other devices compatible with the selected system.

The new generation of Proxima remotes now feature a convenient buzzer. Each click of any remote button is signaled with an audible signal. To turn off the buzzer, press any button on the remote control 5 times quickly. The fifth click should be held until the LED indicates the buzzer has been deactivated by the fan anthem. Repeating the procedure restores the previous setting.

The remote control starts sending the hidden button code (SEED) after a 30-second long press of the remote control button. The sending of a SEED is signaled by a flashing red LED. This flashing also indicates the three-digit coding system number. In the BFT and APRIMATIC systems, the remote control also starts sending SEED when two buttons are pressed simultaneously (does not apply to the MINI ONE remote control). There can be many factors contributing to poor coverage, The most common problem is a low battery in the remote control. If the remote control range has decreased over time, there is a high probability that the battery is low or damaged. Another factor that may worsen the range is other electrical or electronic devices.If the remote control battery is good, it's worth looking for a possible source of interference. It's important to remember that there should be no obstacles in the path that could limit the remote's range.

1. Replace the battery and check the remote control range again. The most common cause of poor remote control range is a weak battery.
2. Eliminate devices that interfere with the remote control. Many devices you use daily can affect the performance and range of your gate remote. Try to limit the number of devices that may operate on a similar frequency.
3. Use a retransmitter to increase the remote control range. Proxima has a wide range of retransmitters, whose primary purpose is to increase the range. The repeater repeats the received command from the remote control with a rolling code and transmits it to the receiver. Of particular note is SPLIT Retransmitter Set, which can increase the range by up to several hundred meters, and thanks to various power supply options, the SPLIT set can be used in any facility.

Special remotes are designed for use even in the harshest conditions. Transmitters are available in dozens of radio modes. Some remotes can be personalized by engraving a design of your choice on the transmitter housing. Proxima special remote controls can be used in cars, electrical boxes, on the wall, or even on your wrist as a watch!

There are several options for opening the gate from the car. We can divide them into those that interfere with the vehicle's electronics and those that do not require any intervention. Solutions that do not require intervention include, for example, the use of SUNFLOWER handle Proxima brand mounted on the sun visor or use pilot LIGHTER mounted in the cigarette lighter socket. Solutions that interfere with the vehicle's electronics deserve special attention, as they are designed to provide the most convenient operation of external devices. In addition to remote controls with a lead-out SWITCH and/ or SENSOR we also created HB remote control allowing the gate to be opened by briefly flashing the main beam headlights.

To open the gate with a mobile phone, use the GSM ECO controller. Attempting to make a phone call (free CLIP) or send an SMS with a password (the SMS cost is based on your operator's tariff) will short-circuit the relay in the controller, causing the gate to open or close. External controllers allow you to operate electrical devices using remote controls. The vast majority of PROXIMA controllers are universal, which means they work with remote controls from different manufacturers.

Proxima controllers can be powered from 12-24V AC/DC or 230V AC. They include single-, two-, and even four-channel versions, which are most often used as additional receivers in gate drives. We also offer controllers dedicated to incandescent lighting, LED lighting, and roller shutters.

Depending on the type of lighting, we have designed the following controllers:

LN_LT - network radio controller designed to switch on LED lighting using the remote control or button,

LN_L - network radio controller designed to switch on traditional light bulbs using the remote control or button,

LN_LT FLASH - network controller attached to the gate drive warning light, switches on the driveway lighting temporarily.

HomeCar USA or EU Kit allows you to open the gate using the HomeLink car system Designed for vehicles manufactured for the US or EU markets, HomeLink is an American concept for controlling a gate using a remote control located in the vehicle. HomeLink remote buttons are typically located on the driver's sun visor, integrated into the rearview mirror, or located on the overhead console. Sets consist of a remote control and a receiver. The remote transmits codes to the vehicle's built-in buttons, and the receiver is connected to the control unit of the given drive via the Open or Step-by-Step control input.

Proxima brand radio cards are universal internal receivers, which are physically compatible with control units from leading gate automation manufacturers. Although mechanically compatible with a given control unit type, they can simultaneously work with remote controls from different manufacturers. Versions are available that are compatible with remote controls operating at 433 MHz or 868 MHz. Radio cards are compatible with ROGER, CAME, HÖRMANN, NICE, BFT, BENNICA and FAAC control units, among others.

Standard Proxima key fobs do not allow for setting a PIN. For this purpose, special Proxima brand remote controls were created, PIN REMOTE i REMOTE CONTROL BY PIN.

PIN PILOT allows you to send six different commands:
- three commands sent by simply pressing the upper - lower - both buttons,
- three orders sent after entering the PIN.

REMOTE CONTROL BY PIN sends the command only after entering the PIN.

Gate security is one of the most important elements of gate automation. In addition to standard solutions such as photocells signal lamps Proxima has also prepared unusual security solutions. One of the solutions is a set consisting of an edge resistive strip and a gate controller for moving sensors. When the rubber profile mounted on the moving edge of the gate is compressed, a signal is sent that will then stop or reverse the gate's movement. Another solution used especially in residential areas is Magnetoresistive Vehicle Detector. The detector replaces the standard, classic induction loop. Using three-axis technology (X, Y, Z), it detects vehicles within a 1,5-meter radius.

The photocell is one of the most important elements of gate automation. The photocell consists of two elements: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter emits a beam of infrared light, which is then received by the receiver. If an obstacle appears between the transmitter and the receiver, the receiver records the event, for example, stopping the gate's movement.

Due to the multitude of radio-controlled electronic devices, both in households and in businesses, the range between remote controls and receivers of gate and roller shutter automation systems is becoming an increasing problem. Proxima has a wide range of retransmitters whose primary task is to increase range. The repeater repeats the received command from the rolling code remote control via radio and sends it to the receiver.

Resistive strip serves to secure the movable and stationary parts of the gate edge. Slight compression of the rubber profile on the moving edge of the gate may cause the leaf to stop or change its direction of movement.

MDP This modern vehicle detector utilizes a magnetoresistance sensor. It replaces the traditional induction loop. It features a sensor that detects both stopped and moving vehicles. Vehicle detection can be achieved on three axes. Configuration is performed using the economical configurator (included) or the LCD configurator (optional).

Drives with the suffix "R" in their name have a built-in receiver, enabling control via keychain or roller blind remote controls.
